Back by popular demand! A production that is Entertaining, Impactful and Important…
Jana Marie Foundation, along with our sponsor partners Ferguson Foundation, Mount Nittany Health, Beck Psychotherapy, McGinnis Counseling and Consulting, Mimi Barash and the Ramada State College are proud to present an evening of cabaret entertainment unlike any you ever have experienced…
“A cabaret about mental health could be hokey. It could be insensitive. Or it could be raw, honest and brave. She’s Crazy (Mental Health and Other Myths), the latest creation from “Two Feisty Broads,” is one of the most moving things I’ve seen on stage this season.”
–Kirk Shepherd, The Sappy Critic
Part cabaret and part improvisational theater, She’s Crazy: Mental Health and Other Myths uses original music and personal stories to inform as well as entertain. The audience is an integral and active part of the show which brings issues of mental health to the forefront of community dialogue.
“The performers strike just the right balance of respect for a serious subject and humor, which lightens the mood. Their personal authority and compassion shine through…It’s hard to imagine anyone not gaining courage and hope from this production.”
–National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Blog
