We strive to raise our children to become strong, confident, happy adults.  The Straight Talk Parenting Series presents educational programs that help parents and caregivers to recognize, understand, and deal with potential problems that can surface during a child’s developmental years.  Be proactive.  Learn the warning signs.  Learn how to help your child before the problem affects him or her, impacts school work, or influences family relationships.

Thursday, January 12: Cell Phones & Other Devices, What Parents Should Know

School Resource Officer Terry Stec and Detective John Aston, State College Borough Police Department

Join us to discuss the different devices, apps and social media sites that are popular among youth today.  Learn how to monitor the use, manage the devices and understand the legal ramifications of improper use.

Brought to the Centre County area by Jana Marie Foundation, State College Area School District, Communities that Care and Youth Service Bureau.
