When we feel loved, secure, and confident in who we are, and when we have a strong support network around us, we can flourish and grow regardless of the challenges that come our way. This idea is tied to the concept of “antifragility,” which is a property of systems in which they increase in capability to thrive as a result of stressors, shocks, volatility, noise, mistakes, faults, attacks, or failures. The element of antifragility is essential in allowing young people to move through life’s stressors while staying grounded in the knowledge that they are valued and inherently capable of resilience.
Philosophy of Hope IV is an unforgettable concert that combines extraordinary musicians into one band that will use its collective voice to celebrate life’s ups and downs. Showcasing inspiring songs crafted by singer-songwriter-author Ken Baxter as well as new arrangements of memorable songs from the past, we will go on a musical journey to remind us of our resiliency.
Join Ken Baxter and other noted musicians as they send a powerful message that together we can improve our collective well-being and strengthen our antifragility.
This concert supports the work of Jana Marie Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to harnessing the power of creative expression and dialogue to spark conversations, build connections, and promote mental well-being among young people and their communities.
