With the help of Jana Marie Foundation and Penn State Musical Theatre students, cupid is going virtual!

This unique and distanced Valentine’s Day, you have an opportunity to do something really special and loving!  For a modest donation, you can surprise the one you love or the people you miss with a personalized email to someone you love with a selected song, sung by an aspiring young Broadway talent.

Each recipient will know that a donation was made in their name to Jana Marie Foundation and is being used to spread mental health and suicide prevention awareness and education.  Like most non-profits, the Jana Marie Foundation is facing an increased demand for services while experiencing a decline with traditional fundraising.  Your singing Valentine not only shares your love and supports Jana Marie Foundation, but will help spread joy during these challenging times!

Please note that a separate form will need to be filled out for each recipient you wish to send a song. Form is found at the bottom of this webpage. If you need any assistance, please email info@janamariefoundation.org.

Available Songs:

When filling out your send-a-song request, you will be asked to select a song that is meaningful to you.  Each song is sung by a talented Penn State Musical Theatre student.  Penn State’s Musical Theatre program is consistently ranked as one of the Top 5 Musical Theatre programs in the country and with less than 1% acceptance rate, it is one of the most selective programs at PSU. Each recipient you send a song to will be awed by the talent and meaning behind this special gift.

About Penn State Musical Theatre

Penn State Musical Theatre is an intensive pre-professional training program with alumni working around the country and the world. Our faculty is made up of artists dedicated to both the profession and the academy. As working actors, dancers, music directors, choreographers, and directors, we bring our students Broadway, national tour, regional theatre, and film and television experience. With a ratio of thirteen faculty to forty-nine students, the training is individualized, specific, and demanding. Students accepted into the program receive specialized training in singing, acting, and dance. In addition to this training, Penn State Musical Theatre offers signature initiatives like the New Musicals Initiative (which commissions musical theatre writers to write for our students), the Master Class Series, and our unique Musical Theatre Wellness Center – which assists our students in the areas of Mental, Physical, Vocal, and Nutritional Health during their training.
